While classical perfume compositions follow defined categories, scent structures, and traditional formulation, IDLE™ functions within its own limits and systems. Our fragrances do not fit neatly into categories, attempt to imitate smells, nor do they reflect on derivative nostalgia and memory.
When we say, “Free From Word-Smells”, we imply that our perfumes are entirely unique scent compositions and not a combination of notes to recognize and measure. We refrain from communicating specific notes because we do not want these word-smells to influence the subjective experience of perceiving a dynamic perfume that is entirely unique to each instance it is smelled.
We understand that this atypical approach may prompt eye-rolls, but we hope that by sampling our scents you’ll be able to have your own subjective and unadulterated olfactory experience.
